Intentional Ridiculousness

T’is the Season for “new” intentions!
T’is also the Season to take the decades (or longer) “old” intentions and make them “new” again.

Instead of wrestling with a new to-do list and inflicting some well-deserved shame and guilt upon you, I recommend you spend some time in the ethers…or at least the 30,000 foot level, to get a better handle on your life. After all, it is yours!

Your primary intentions have been around you for a long time and will require only tweaking on a year to year basis. However, with the new energy inputs and the raising of your consciousness, there are many new “areas of improvement” that you have already identified. And, how have you identified them?

For most of us, it is pain, frustration, anger and a sense of same stuff…different day. It can usually be boiled down to a few people and a few situations. It begins with weariness and a low sense of dread that you’ll be interacting with “them” again today…and then it goes downhill from there. Many have called them energetic vampires…you know…they suck all the energy out of you and drain your desire to live.

Truth be told, you let them and most of it happens in your head before “they” have even done anything “out here.” The question to answer is…why?

As Einstein said, “Problems can’t be solved at the same level they were created.” Therefore, your challenge is to lighten up and to ascend to a higher perspective where you can act as a witness to…umm…you. From that place, your fears, failures and addictions are clear to view and to choose differently, should you decide to.

Most of today’s problems and challenges stem from someone’s need to right and someone’s need to be a victim. Some folks actually believe that if they don’t understand or believe in gravity, they remain immune from its effects.

Seriously.

Imagine a video camera following you around all day with a 360 degree range. Have you any idea of how silly you’d look and sound if you could actually capture the entire nuance present in your life?

Hysterical.

Ever watch the “Jaywalker” segment on Jay Leno? Simply put, Jay goes around and asks things like “Who is buried in Grant’s Tomb?” Home and studio viewers are treated to the most absurd individuals and perspectives as a backdrop to the current state of…well the state. Who are these people? And, if they vote or drive, they may be a juror in a legal case that one of their friends brought against you!

That’s consciousness…and the lack of same…as well as intelligence and the lack of same…playing out in “real time” affecting all of us.

So, as I review my new (old) intentions and choose to move them to an area of accomplishment, I use the Jaywalkers as my motivation to achieve more and enjoy more and produce more. From that place, I can continue to laugh at the state of human potential and enjoy my intentional silliness for all it is…a defense mechanism for my ego to say that “at least you aren’t one of them.”

As if I could.
