Perpetual Gratitide

One of the greatest gifts this earthly life experience holds for us is the potential for perpetual gratitude. And, as the game is played, it remains one of the most elusive.

Seems the older we get, the more potential we have to enjoy the experiences that gratitude holds. We get wiser and clear on our purpose. Our children grow up and have some of their opportunities for joy exposed with graduations and other adult privileges. Soon, they are parents as well, and we spend holidays and vacations remembering back to a simpler time while enjoying the present moment with the grand kids and reflecting on our life to that point.

For many, that is the dream. For others, it seems nothing could be further from their reality. So which came first? Was it the gratitude that led to the bliss or was it the bliss that led to the gratitude?

Still, others have had the reverse experience. Drama and challenge early in their lives led to pain and hurt which, in turn, have led to areas of disappointment and bitterness for a lifetime. These emotions seemingly bonded with the individuals and remain there today, continuing their pattern of hopelessness and dysfunction.

It’s amazing what we can get addicted to at such an early age and how we spend the rest of our life dealing with those very addictions that seeped into our consciousness as children. We need to “unwire” those beliefs to live a functional and prosperous life.

There are days where perpetual gratitude is easy to access…and others where it is nowhere to be found. Usually, it can be found in the smile of a child or a tree shedding its colorful leaves this time of year. I find it in running around the playground with my youngest and observing him totally embracing his day. He has become my role model…instead of the other way around.

His sense of newness and the appreciation he holds for a stray puppy or a colorful leaf is a reminder to me of all that is and all that can be. Instead of focusing on an unpleasant egoic deadline, I focus on his effervescence and am reminded about how simple this game of life can be.

Perhaps you, too, can find a higher level of gratitude this season. It is my prayer for you that access to this deep and profound sense of peace is yours this Holiday season. Whether it is in the eye of a child or a volunteer opportunity at a local food bank, I wish you the very best in expressing the “child” within. Your sense of well-being and your relationship with the world depends on it.

The Chasm Grows

What was once a tiny distance between the energy field of conscious and unconscious intention and activity has recently grown into the gap that exists between both sides of the Grand Canyon.

Where one could easily jump from one side of the babbling brook on one topic and back again on another, there is now a chasm so wide and so deep, it is virtually impossible to pass over safely.

Which brings me to the point…

We have made our choices. Whichever side of the chasm you find yourself on today is likely to be the one that you find yourself on until the end of your physical life.

The dye has been cast…it is obvious to everyone…and you will find it difficult, if not impossible, to rearrange the chairs on your luxury liner. From one perspective, there’s no need to. From another, it simply doesn’t matter.

The only thing left to play out is for others to see you as you are. The opportunity to remain in integrity is no longer negotiable as it was when we could flip around and jump from side to side. Simply, you are or you aren’t.

And, this is sure to cause some pain. You’ll recognize it as the dark that bubbles up in you and spills out onto others. The squeeze humanity feels is intense and, at times, unpleasant, both for the projector and the receiver. Watch closely to see who is who in this drama of “right and wrong.” It surrounds us all, and the repercussions are intriguing.

When we observe that the above is true, we are guided to the distant shore where we once spent time with people, ideas and influence. They are no more accessible to us and we must now lie down where we have made our bed. Consciousness requires that we declare our truth and that has been accomplished.

So, which side of the chasm are you on?

Are you sure?

The Purge Continues

About 2 weeks ago, I wrote an article for www.innervisionmagazine.com which was entitled Harvesting Passion. It reflected on the current plight of the planet and the challenges that we can all witness. For ease, I have posted it here as well.

Since the writing of that piece, multiple earthquakes and tsunamis have been reported all across the world with literally tens of thousands of deaths as a result of these shifts. Again, Mother Nature has said “enough.”

Many of you have heard of the potential impact of the H1N1 Flu which is ravaging the planet as well at this time. As has been reported, vaccines will be accessible this week for those most at risk for contracting this flu. While on the surface this might be considered good news, instead, many are more concerned about the “cure” than the disease.

Is it just me, or do you also feel as though we might not be getting all of the necessary information to make an informed decision? Do you feel as though you are a performer on a stage that must do the right thing and just say your lines instead of directing and focusing your effort and intent on something you choose? Why do I look around and see only ostrich butts because their heads are in the sand?

In a very real way, lethargic and somewhat mentally paralyzed folks walk aimlessly through our lives…or so it seems. Go to any popular store where mass population and mass consciousness is held and just watch. Walk into any Wal-Mart (nothing against Wal-Mart…they just fit the profile) and you’ll observe what I am talking about. Look for these signs:

• A glazed over look on the faces of many
• Little to no eye contact with anyone (other than the Wal-Mart greeters)
• Carts banging into other carts which are both directed by humans(?)
• A franticness to get checked-out
• Bad behavior by many children
• Worse behavior by their parents
• A sense you are on the set of the zombie movie Dawn of the Dead

Even during these times, it is possible to harvest our passion and to reap the rewards of our efforts. It’s just a little more challenging now with such a heavy blanket of denial, apathy, energetic compromises and a sense of dread felt by our sub-conscious regarding the thinning of the herd.

With current Life Force readings in the 0.027 range for urban America on a scale from 0-100, how can one not have a sense of impending disaster and despair? At some quantum level, we all know it and still we can’t do much about it. Friends and family are heading out very soon. Our experience on this energy level may be ending as it has before countless times…and that scares many people who may or may not be prepared for whatever (they believe) is next.

So, whether it’s the Swine flu or the earthquakes or the tsunamis of just biological warfare directed at the free world, all of us are involved in its creation as well as its remedy. I know what I’ll be doing in the quest of continually raising my consciousness today. What role will you play? How will you observe the world as it is…not as we wish to perceive it and STILL rise above the pettiness and the fear? What is coming up for you during this experience?

In many ways, I believe we created this experience to get us back to truth…to have faith and trust in a process we can’t understand from this level, even with all the clues that have been left for thousands of years. And, for the tens or hundreds of thousands or more who will leave this day, may they remember who they are prior to the exit ramp and bask in the glory of all that is, even though we have forgotten. For those coming in today, may they also remember who they are and create a space for the rest of us to grow into that same space of peace. And, may the consciousness balance tip in a positive direction so that we may all lift our heads from the sand and see what’s really happening “out there.”

Harvesting Passion

October is the traditional time when we reap that which we have sown. We are 10 months into the “New Year” and many of our resolutions are nowhere near top of mind, let alone found in our daily experience. Another year has mostly passed where the bounty is seemingly “less than” that which we had hoped.

God, why are we so hard on ourselves?

Upon reflection, is that a prayer, or a statement of fact? Perhaps both, perhaps neither. It might be a measure of our PASSION!

Seems like a rite of passage…beating ourselves up due to some perceived shortcoming or failing…usually on a daily, hourly or minute basis. Unchecked, this exercise affects our immune system and everything we plan to accomplish today and tomorrow.

To further understand passion’s role in our lives, you must consider your path. What is it you are here to do? What unique skills and interests are you to bring to the world party? What fulfills you, challenges you, inspires you and yes, drives you to the highest state of accomplishment that you are capable of experiencing at that time?

Passion is what gets you up in the morning due to a sense of anticipation of the new skills and opportunities for learning that will be mandatory to grow today. Passion is any great, powerful emotion, especially love or hate that seemingly drives you to act.

So there’s the rub…love or hate…more of us are choosing hate, or fear, or shame, or guilt or apathy, or grief.

My observations lately have to do with the manner in which people are processing out the unwanted emotions that affect them greatly, and from that place, assume that they are their emotions. What a miracle to learn that they are purging from the past and not necessarily the person they are detoxing!

There are comments and beliefs and prophecies about the coming 2012 potentials for which I am skeptical to be sure. But, one key area of agreement is that the consciousness of the planet is being forced to rise. As I have said in countless seminars, we can all increase our consciousness incrementally or the lowest consciousness energetic forms will “leave.”

So, what does this mean?

Have you noticed that the largest areas of destruction on the planet are also in the areas where consciousness is lowest? Utilizing the Map of Consciousness in the book Power vs. Force by David Hawkins, MD, Ph.D. and in his follow-up books on consciousness research, the lowest areas of consciousness are seemingly being swept off the planet by tsunami’s, earthquakes, weather disasters, war and famine. Is this a unique occurrence or has this been happening all the time?

It seems that, at least outwardly, the places that have a passion for living are creating a vibrant situation where true living and experiencing is the norm. Areas where disease, famine and war are the norm are further re-creating this vibration by the challenges they continually deal with daily.

Perhaps Mother Earth has said “enough”.

A very smart and influential person in my life has referred to this period as a “thinning of the herd.” Stephen Lewis, founder of the AIM Energetic Balancing program, recently wrote an article and sat down for an interview with me (WWW.EMC2CONSCIOUSNESS.COM) entitled, Don’t Shoot the Messenger, where he explains his energetic perspective on what is happening now. (Listen to the podcast here.)

Stephen has been following this challenging situation for 15 years now, ever since he measured an aerosolized frequency that included HIV, Hepatitis D and Swine Herpes. Since that moment, he has been writing and speaking on the fall of Life Force via his technology. Even in the midst of this experience, Lewis has maintained his passion for excellence as many are assisted in their healing process via this method.

While hosting some of the key metaphysical teachers of our time on the show EVERYTHING IS ENERGY on www.isysiv.com along with Stephen, I am reminded of the key teachings of the Masters from our past. It is from this place that I once again find my passion and move forward on the path to accomplishment…to do my part well and to know that all is well, regardless of current observations from my level of consciousness.

When I look back over 2009, I see many area of accomplishment where gratitude has walked hand-in-hand with anticipation and potential. As well, I see many areas where I have missed my internal mark…for now…and know a higher or better process has replaced the initial goal set for myself some 10 months ago. Even in the midst of a goal that has gone unaccomplished, I can find areas where the changing of the seasons allowed a new and fresh perspective to be seen and thereby, shift happened!

Guidance comes from everywhere and with everything. The question is whether or not your vibration or frequency is at the level to “read” these signatures. Given our current world experience, it can be difficult to maintain a level where the signatures are easily recognizable. The collective unconscious surrounds us every instant…and with so much detox occurring, it can appear to be VERY challenging…because it is.

As we come closer to that time where the thinning of the herd is more apparent and easily recognized, mass consciousness will begin it’s downshifting into survival mode and things may seem even worse. But once there, we will see the answer as a mass consciousness experience that, I believe, will lead us all to the “promised land” which could seem like heaven on earth.

The passion we must harvest is already here. Instead of searching for it, we must instead remove everything that is hiding what is already present. Just as the “David” was already in the stone, so must we channel our inner Michelangelo to remove the chunks that no longer fit or that inhibit our destiny. The pursuit or recognition of our passion and our passionate pursuits will be the outcome once those activities, thoughtforms or karmic propensities have been balanced and removed from our consciousness.

I know it feels “heavy” out there right now and that it isn’t likely to get better soon…but this is where we get to build up our inner core and to remember who we are and why we are here. This is the work we stood in line to share and experience with each other. What do you say we all hold a grateful vibration for the next 30 days, 30 hours or 30 seconds, and see if things change? Once we have experienced that success, we can repeat it and share it with others looking for their path home and to celebrate with passion the harvest we have so definitely earned through our intention and our experience.
