Our Challenging Times

Understanding the roles and responsibilities of our lives is one of the greatest and most noble experiences we can CHOOSE to pursue. It is relevant to the rise in consciousness and awareness that we are inherently attempting to find…and it must be down in an environment that is tilting backwards in many ways.

One would think that the primary responsibility is on the self and the Self. And yet, we are seemingly dealing with the great chasm between spiritual consciousness and egoic fear-based experience.

The view of the world from the 100 story level is simply different than the view from the 3rd floor…and yet people will honestly look outside and see what they see and disagree mightily regarding whose view is accurate and most complete. Actually, only the person on the 3rd floor will argue vigorously…the one on the 100th floor already knows better.

And this brings us to today’s worldly experience. Whether it is governmental policy or a disagreement with a family member, we are being tested to see the best and the brightest in each other, while also allowing the experience to others. These periods of powerful change are disconcerting to many and seemingly promise even more over the next few years.

To many, it feels as if this human experience is getting tenser and that gripping sensation is tightening each day. The energy of this time is powerful in both directions…the unconscious are getting pummeled by the fearfulness of the time and the conscious are getting the opportunity to sit through the craziness and to shine the light. This outward demonstration of absurdity is permeating our American society in an effort to be seen and embraced for what it is…a fear of losing control in the game of life that can’t we won, only played.

So, yes, this is a challenging time. And, the best, or the worst, depending on which floor you are observing from, is ready to take another leap this fall. Be advised. And prepared.
